Job summary

RUSH-HENRIETTA CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking highly qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track teaching position in integrated co-teacher and consultant teacher classrooms. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong case-management skills and knowledge of adolescent development and individualized instruction. A New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education is required. This position is located in Henrietta, NY, and the effective date is September 1, 2026. Attendance at New Teacher Orientation is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a valid New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education.
• Dual certification in a core content area is desirable.
• Experience in special education is preferred.

Seeking highly qualified candidates for a full‑time, tenure‑track teaching position in integrated co‑teacher and consultant teacher classrooms. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of adolescent development, individualized instruction, assessment for progress monitoring, and possess strong case‑management skills.

Salary

Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush‑Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.

Location

All Secondary Buildings (Grades 7‑12).

Qualifications

New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education (Secondary and/or K‑12) is required. Dual certification in a core content area is desirable, but applicants should be committed to working in special education.

Effective Date

September 1, 2026.

Other Requirements

Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25‑27 is required.
