Paradise Valley Unified School District is hiring for the Campus Support role at Eagle Ridge Elementary School. This position focuses on ensuring the safety and welfare of students through various duties such as monitoring behavior, providing assistance in classrooms, and enforcing safety policies. This is a 9-month position offering various shifts and pays $15.15/hour, with the duration running from 8/03/2026 to 5/27/2027.
The job of Campus Support is carried out to provide assistance to the instructional process. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and welfare of students across various support service areas such as noon duty coverage, AM/PM duty coverage, classroom assistance, crosswalk coverage, and other tasks as needed on campus. This position reports to the Building Administrator.

Participate in unit meetings, in‑service training, workshops, etc. to convey and/or gather information required to perform job functions. Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Skills: Adhere to safety practices; enforce rules and regulations.
Knowledge: Basic math; understand written procedures; write routine documents; speak clearly; understand complex, multi‑step written and oral instructions related to safety practices, procedures, and traffic laws.
Abilities: Schedule activities; collate data; use basic job‑related equipment; work flexibly with others; solve problems, identify issues, and create action plans. Display tact and courtesy; remain attentive to detail; maintain confidentiality.
Work under direct supervision using standardized routines, provide information or advice to others, and continually impact the organization’s services.
Typical physical demands include some lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and fine finger dexterity. The job requires approximately 40% sitting, 30% walking, and 30% standing, performed under temperature extremes and potential risk of injury or illness.
Job‑related experience is desired.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Criminal Background Clearance.
Valid Arizona DPS Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
