Job summary

Nolan Creek School in Belton, Texas is seeking a Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This on-call position reports to the campus administrator and offers a daily rate based on qualification.

SALARY RANGE: DAILY RATE:

• HS Diploma/GED: $115 per day
• Bachelor's Degree: $120 per day
• Certified: $125.00 per day
• Long term (15+ consecutive days): additional $20 per day

POSITION SUMMARY:

In the absence of the campus teacher, provide students with supervision and appropriate learning activities to continue instruction without interruption.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Instructional

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Experience:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas teaching certificate preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
• Frequent walking.
• Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may lift and move text books and classroom equipment.
• Work inside, may work outside; regular exposure to noise.
• Maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours.
