Job summary

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC is seeking a Weekend, Part-Time Seasonal Ski Racing Coach in Hancock, MA. You will work with U8–U19 athletes, delivering instruction and mentorship during Saturdays and Sundays from December through March, with travel to local Tri-State events.

Responsibilities include teaching racing basics, maintaining a safe learning environment, and upholding the resort’s values while presenting a professional appearance. CORI checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong skiing ability; ski confidently on black diamond terrain.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Criminal Background Check (CORI) required.
• USSA Level 100 certification preferred; current USSA coaching license & Tri-State Alpine membership preferred.

Weekend, Part-Time | Seasonal (December – March)

Join the Jiminy Peak Ski Racing team and help shape the next generation of alpine athletes! Race Coaches work with skiers from U8 through U19, providing instruction, mentorship, and guidance in a safe and supportive environment. This is a weekend, part-time seasonal position running from early December through mid-March, with some travel to local Tri-State racing events. Certifications may grant differentials in pay rate.

• Teach and coach alpine ski racing principles with clarity, positivity, and enthusiasm
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment for all athletes
• Lead by example with professionalism, energy, and a positive attitude toward all assignments
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Jiminy Peak, including mountain operations, food and beverage, lodging, and lifts, to assist athletes and families as needed
• Maintain a professional appearance—helmet, jacket, and name tag required at all times
• Uphold Jiminy Peak’s mission, vision, and core values
• Be punctual and reliable, adhering to the team’s training and racing schedule

Qualifications

• Prior alpine race experience preferred but not required
