PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach science at the middle school level
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials
• Possess ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction
• Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning
• Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework
• Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students

FLSA: Exempt

SALARY: $53,889.00 - $88,182.05 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience and pro-rated to start date
