Ednovate Background

Ednovate launched its first school in 2012. Since then, we’ve grown to eight schools and are on a trajectory to reach 11 schools in just the next few years (you can read more about our schools here). Ednovate is committed to serving areas where students traditionally lack access to a quality college-prep education by building tuition-free, safe, high-performing public schools driven to create positive multi-generational change.

We are made up of world travelers, nacho connoisseurs, KPOP business owners, and Beyonce fans. We love LA and OC, and we're our students' biggest cheerleaders. We are looking to hire innovative changemakers who aim to continue our goal of becoming the high school experts across Southern California. Sound like you? Keep reading.

Position Overview

You will be a friendly face for families, staff, visitors and students in your school’s main office, and will also support student data and attendance processes to ensure that every student is in school every day. This role is an exciting opportunity for an organized, flexible, team-oriented individual looking to create positive multigenerational change in a collaborative, results-oriented environment. This is an hourly, non-exempt role that reports to the Dean of Operations.

Manage and track Chromebooks, triage Chromebook repairs, coordinate with the Tech Support team for external repairs, support teachers with classroom technology such as Apple TV and projectors, and support students with password resets.
  • Provide top-notch customer service. Provide warm, timely support to staff, students, visitors and families so they have a high-quality experience in every interaction. Manage the main office front desk, including welcoming and directing families and visitors, receiving phone calls and delivering messages, supporting uniform sales, and receiving and managing deliveries.
  • Maintain operational compliance. Maintain accuracy of student data throughout the school year, ensuring student files are complete and up to date, and support preparation for Report Card Pickup. Follow all operational processes (including those for finance, safety, data, and communication) with fidelity to meet authorizer, state, federal and audit requirements.
  • Support a caring and accountable student culture. Supervise students during transitions, large group gatherings, breakfast, lunch and/or after school activities. Lead student Chromebook loaner distribution system. Provide additional student culture support as assigned.
