Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Project Manager. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Plymouth, MN.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Armament Systems/Combat Systems organization/business unit and will report directly to the Terrain Shaping Obstacles Portfolio Manager. This role will involve managing one or more R&D/Manufacturing projects in the portfolio to ensure all technical requirements are met and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions.
Roles & Responsibilities: The selected candidate will participate in all phases of project and program management including program planning, program reviews with internal stakeholders and customers, and risk management. The candidate will have a problem-solving mindset and work closely with the program team to drive action items to closure.
Basic Qualifications:
Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s) from an accredited institution.
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), Business, or related degree.
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Experience in technology development, project management, and/or manufacturing.
Experienced user of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and/or SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
Experience in Operations and Projects.
Expert user of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and/or SharePoint.
Salary Range: $58,400-$87,600
