Job summary

Lenze in Uxbridge, MA seeks a Production Manager to lead daily automation manufacturing operations across 2 shifts, overseeing about 85 employees. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while coaching Production Supervisors and teams.

This leadership role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance, develop talent, and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with manufacturing leadership experience
• 5+ years in progressive manufacturing operations with leadership responsibility
• 3+ years leading teams of 50+ employees in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data-driven decision making
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Production Supervisors and teams across 2 shifts, ~85 employees, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost
• Manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer commitments
• Drive Lean initiatives, 5S, standard work, and Kaizen projects to improve performance
• Lead root cause analysis, problem solving, and PDCA activities to achieve sustained improvements
• Oversee cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Planning to support business objectives
