Job summary

Lenze Americas in Uxbridge, MA, seeks a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing and logistics, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements, and partner with the VP of Operations on strategic plans.

This senior role requires 10+ years in manufacturing operations, 7+ years in leadership, and a Lean/Six Sigma background to develop teams and achieve aggressive performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field required; MBA or Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience in a technical environment.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing/ops/supply chain.
• 5+ years leading managers and building high-performing teams.
• Lean manufacturing experience; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems; familiarity with MES and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing and logistics operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity goals.
• Develop capacity strategies for scalable growth and on-time customer commitments.
• Drive Lean, LPS, and continuous improvement initiatives for measurable results.
• Shape organizational structure, investment priorities, and long-term operations objectives.
• Collaborate with global teams to standardize processes and share best practices.
• Oversee safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across functions.
