Healthcare Linen Services Group in Madison, WI is seeking a Route Driver Non CDL to join our team. This full-time, hourly position operates our company truck to deliver clean product and pick up soiled items from customer locations with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will load and unload using laundry carts, maintain professional customer relations, and adhere to route schedules. Night and weekend availability is required, with shifts starting at 8pm or 5-8pm depending on route.

Qualifications

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling.
• Valid Class D driver’s license.
• Must have clean driving record per company policy.
• Be available to drive nights and weekends; schedules may require additional hours.

Salary Range: $20.40 To $23.60 Hourly

PURPOSE : To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY : Operate company truck to deliver clean product to the customer in a timely manner and pick up soiled product from customer locations. Load and unload the trucks with laundry carts. Establish professional relationship with customers and provide quality customer service. Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections. Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Cross-train on other routes per department needs
• Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day
• Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
• Valid Class D driver’s license
• Must have clean driving record per company policy
• Have six months to one-year experience
• Be available to drive nights and weekends; schedules may require additional hours based on the needs of our
• One position starts at 8pm and works Sunday night through Thursday nights; a full time schedule.
• The second position starts between 5-8pm and works Monday - Friday nights ; a full time schedule.
• Ability to speak and read the English language
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day
• Be able to use repetitive arm motions
