Job summary

Daifuku North America, a leader in intelligent material handling systems, is hiring for a full-time Welder (1st shift) in Hobart, IN. Working Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm, you will weld metal parts using high heat and interpret blueprints.

Requirements include at least 1 year of welding experience, a high school diploma or welding certificate/associate degree, and the ability to identify exact measurements on a tape measure. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machine and feed wire to bond materials.
• Plan work by interpreting blueprints.
• Determine welding position and metal type.
• Set up welding equipment.
• Ensure welds meet standards and specifications.
• Comply with Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
