Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler (Part Time) in Springfield, OH. Starting pay is $20.13/hour with a weekly $145 bonus for meeting minimum hour requirements. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Must be 18+, able to read and communicate in English, and lift up to 100 pounds. Shifts Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays with 7:30 AM start. Candidate must be able to work overtime/holidays as needed and pass a background check and drug

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks such as order picking and packing.
• Operate in a fast-paced distribution environment and train with the team.
• Be prepared to work Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with start times around 7:30 AM.

Distribution Center Address:4980 Gateway Blvd. | Springfield, Ohio

Pay:Starting at $20.13/hour

This position is eligible for a $145 bonus per week. To qualify, employees must work a minimum of 5 hours on at least 2 days of the work week

Work Schedule:

Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
Part -time shift starts at 7:30 AM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume)

Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!

We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).

Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.

Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
