Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Richmond, VA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for 1st shift to direct warehouse and inventory activities, ensuring on-time delivery and zero-incident safety culture. You will support Plant/Production managers to improve processes and reduce costs while maintaining equipment and standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or a HS Diploma with 5+ years in warehouse/logistics, plus at least 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma with 5+ years in warehouse/logistics in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/people leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with SAP ERP and Lean/CI concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Zero Incident Safety Culture and align department requirements with on-time delivery for customers.
• Lead Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) and standard work; empower employees to improve and apply countermeasures.
• Promote a team environment and develop direct reports; coordinate across shifts and other supervisors.
• Assist management in determining personnel requirements; provide training resources and coach on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Lead daily accountability meetings and weekly department meetings covering safety, updates and policy changes.
• Maintain daily statistics on demand, production, and overdue orders; communicate metrics to management.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering, and Operations; serve as central point for warehouse/material issues.
• Manage overtime to meet customer commitments and ensure clean, orderly work areas per 5S.
