Job summary

RJ Schinner Co. is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor in St. Louis, MO. The role oversees all 1st shift warehouse activities, ensures accurate picking, shipments, and proper merchandise handling, and reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Requires 3+ years in warehouse ops and 2–3 years in inventory control/SKU management, with strong leadership and ability to operate forklifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years warehouse operations experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of inventory control and SKU management experience.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Able to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
• Collaborates with all levels within the organization.
• Proficiently operates a variety of powered industrial trucks.
• Exposure to environmental conditions (heat/cold; noise, dust).
• Comfortable with heights (25’–30’).

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy and documentation of all outbound shipments.

• Provides training on processes and procedures for 2nd shift employees.
• Communicates business plans and departmental goals and objectives.
• Other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Full-time | Monday – Friday 1 st Shift | 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, or until completion

Superintends all 1st shift warehouse activities and employees. Ensures accurate picking, shipments, and appropriate handling of merchandise. Familiar with a variety of distribution center concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. The Distribution Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
