Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Shepherdsville, KY is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler. Starting pay is $20.13/hr with two pay raises in the first year, and higher rates for speed and efficiency. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 7:30 AM to finish, with overtime as needed.

This role requires physical effort (lifting up to 100 pounds) and working in variable temperatures. Training is provided; prior warehouse experience is not required.

1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Distribution Center Address: 342 Gordon Industrial Dr., Shepherdsville, KY

Pay: Starting at $20.13/hr. Plus, earn two pay raises in your first year and earn more per hour for speed and efficiency

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off. 1st Shift - 7:30AM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume)

You’ll be on your feet for the duration of your shift and you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, but there’s no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. It’s hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn.

Does this look like you? You must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers! We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions). Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check. Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
