Job summary

Ardent Mills is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate in Stockton, CA. Typical hours are 7am-3:30pm with overtime as needed; starting pay is $23/hour. The role focuses on packing, shipping, and warehouse duties to support production and customer satisfaction.

The position requires 2+ years in manufacturing operations, forklift experience, and strong teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills. Training is provided, and safety and GMP standards apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Graduate or GED and experience in shipping, receiving, packaging, transportation, and warehousing.
• Two+ years experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
• Forklift experience preferred; maintain forklift certification.
• Working knowledge of computers, problem solving, people skills, communication skills.
• Dependable, honest, trainable, and motivated.
• Good writing skills and ability to work under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Load van trailers and complete all required shipping paperwork.
• Receive all incoming supplies, packaging materials, and other items and complete proper paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and receiving facilities.
• Achieve packing capacities and improve packing rate efficiencies.
• Minimize downtime and changeovers; learn pack line operation.
• Complete operation of heat sealers, labelers, palletizer, and check weigher.
• Work with production staff; relieve packers and loaders as needed.
• Ensure on-time packing and delivery to customers.
