The role focuses on efficient picking and packing, movement of product, and maintaining productivity while ensuring safety across the department. Responsibilities include directing staff, updating leadership on progress, ensuring daily workloads are completed, and training teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior distribution/warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• 5 years of directly related experience or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate forklifts safely if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors workflow and directs others in assigned department.
• Keeps supervisor updated on progress and challenges.
• Responsible for daily workloads being completed.
• Performs tasks requiring judgment and knowledge of procedures.
• May assist in training new or current employees.
• Maintains safety, productivity and professionalism.
• Operates forklift and related equipment safely.
