Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. is seeking a DC Warehouse Lead in Reno to optimize daily warehouse operations, lead a team, and ensure accurate picking, packing and shipping. You will monitor workflows, train staff, and uphold safety and productivity standards in a fast-paced distribution center.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality and efficiency in order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior distribution/warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with change and interruptions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Requires 5 years of directly related experience or equivalent work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of processes and policies in assigned department(s).
• Working knowledge of warehouse management software and equipment.
• If lift trucks are used, must be able to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Monitors workflow and directs and guides others in the department.
• Keeps supervisor up-to-date on progress and challenges.
• Responsible for daily workloads being completed.
• Performs tasks requiring judgment, independent analysis and decision making.
• May assist in training or retraining of new or current employees.
• Demonstrates safety, productivity and professionalism.
• Operates lift equipment safely when required.
