Job summary
Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our Staples World Class Supply Chain in New York. You may work in six areas: Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping, with emphasis on safety.
This on-site role offers a pay rate of $23.40/hour, benefits for full- and part-time employees, and opportunities to develop through diverse warehouse tasks and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Three months warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.
- Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
- Basic English language skills (spoken and written).
- Full-time role may require overtime beyond scheduled hours.
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 70–100 lbs by hand.
- Must wear safety composite shoes.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment to pick product up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse.
- Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance in the facility.
- Assist with receiving/putaway/returns and shipping tasks as needed.
- Move products via forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
- Contribute to a safe, clean work environment and adhere to procedures.
