Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate in New York to support our supply chain operations. You may work in several areas including order picking, restocking, bulk selection, and custodial duties, with safety as a priority.

The role requires basic English, lifting up to 70 lbs, and willingness to work overtime. The position offers a $23.90/hour base with a $2 shift differential and includes FT/PT benefits, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned schedule and be accountable for tasks.
• Understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required.
• An ability to lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to 70 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Order picking and preparation to meet daily production goals.
• Restock shelves and prep work area for next shift.
• Bulk selecting, packing totes, and stocking product.
• Custodian duties including cleaning and basic maintenance.
