Job summary

Almac Group in Durham, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Operative Grade 1 to perform material handling and inventory control in a standard, computerized warehouse environment servicing a distribution operation.

Responsibilities include picking material for dispatch, conducting inventory verifications, monitoring temperature programs for shipping, operating forklifts and related equipment, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Strong material handling and inventory control skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick material in preparation for dispatch to the customer.
• Perform inventory verifications and inventory movement.
• Monitor temperature programs for shipping staff.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse.
