Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm) in Brewster, NY. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with immediate hiring. Duties include pulling parts, prepping shipments, and using handheld scanners in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will contribute to continuous improvements, ensure accurate data processing, and follow safety policies while supporting a range of brands. Growth and benefits accompany a long-standing manufacturing leader.

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills required.
• HazMat labeling knowledge preferred.
• Training for loading a truck completed.
• Export orders knowledge preferred.
• Experience in shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
• Forklift operation experience with stand up Raymond trucks.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pull parts from inventory, including consignment locations.
• Prepare items for shipment following SOPs and data processing with accuracy.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement to identify process improvements.
• Prepare for cycle counting and understand transfers/restocking.
• Operate handheld scan guns to pick orders for shipping.
• Escalate safety issues to supervisor/EH&S coordinator.
• Inspect equipment per policy and avoid unsafe equipment.
