Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the Hampstead, MD site on the 1st shift (7am-3:30pm). You will pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment, operate UPS WorldShip, and support audits and inventory control while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of warehouse experience, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional heavier loads. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally more than 100 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order printouts.
• Daily use of UPS WorldShip software systems.
• Assist in all special mailings and inventory audits.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
