Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. seeks a Material Handler for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm) in Stanfield, NC. The role requires forklift certification, inventory control, and experience with MRP systems to keep production flowing efficiently.

You will perform material movement, maintain clean work areas, and assist on the floor with standard manufacturing practices. Expect a competitive pay rate of $18.64 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Fork truck certification required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills including Windows and MS Office.
• Good math and filing skills.
• Production minded and familiar with MRP systems.
• Awareness of environmental health and safety rules.
• Inventory management experience.
• Knowledge of standard manufacturing practices and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain component inventories in storage locations and in the MRP system.
• Supply components to productive floor based on customer demand.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in all areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate distribution of raw materials and finished components to designated areas for processes.
• Run floor scrubbers.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting and bending.
• Become a certified PIV operator.
• Work OT as needed, Saturdays.
