Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Hampstead, MD is seeking a Warehouse Worker for 1st shift (7am-3:30pm). You will pick, pack, and prepare orders, operate forklifts, and maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasional >100 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with UPS WorldShip; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is a plus.
• Willingness to occasionally work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order printouts.
• Daily use of UPS WorldShip software systems.
• Assist in all special mailings and inventory audits.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
