Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role in La Vergne, TN. You will support order fulfillment, pack and ship products, and participate in cross-training across warehouse functions. The schedule is typical daytime hours with potential overtime to meet business needs.

The role prioritizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with training provided to operate material handling equipment. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, and applicants with little experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for a full shift.
• Able to follow directions and adapt priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurate picking, quality checks, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, cherry picker, reach truck).

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday - 8:00AM - 4:30PM (overtime per business need)

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications
