Comprehensive Logistics Inc. in Denton, TX is seeking a 1st Shift Team Lead to drive operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will partner with the Supervisor to optimize material flow, lead hourly staff, and ensure accuracy and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in warehouse or manufacturing.
• 1+ years’ experience leading hourly personnel.
• Experience using a warehouse management system.
• Forklift experience preferred or able to pass forklift training certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify processes to improve material flow, line support, and 5S.
• Shift reviews with leadership to include visual management and inventory deviations.
• Coordinate training, work schedules and assignments and conduct shift transition meetings.
• Investigate and determine cause of defective work and advise corrective measures.
• Develop/implement process initiatives.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Responsible for continuous improvement.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Supervisor to identify processes that require improvementin material flow, line support, 5S.
• Shift review with leadership team to include visual management and inventory logistics deviations.
• Coordinate training, work schedules and assignments and conduct shift transition meetings.
• Investigate and determine cause ofdefectivework and consult/advise as to corrective measure.
• Develop/Implement process initiatives.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years’ experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.Automotive experience a plus.
• 1+ years’ experienceleading/directing hourly personnel.
• Ability to train others onsectionprocessesand procedures.
• Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
• Must have experience using a warehouse management system.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving ability and strong strategic thinking skills.
