Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Field Service Technician in North Carolina to perform on-site maintenance, repair, and support for client equipment. The role involves travel to client sites, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal operation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance or related field
• 2 years of Inspecting experience required
• 2 years of Inspection experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site maintenance, repair, and technical support for client equipment and systems.
• Travel to client sites to install, maintain, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and implement timely solutions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to optimize performance.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on operation and maintenance procedures.
• Document all service activities including tasks, repairs, and configurations.
• Coordinate service visits with clients and internal teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and technical support for our clients' equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of our clients' equipment.
• Travel to client sites to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
• Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to optimize performance.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Document all service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment configurations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to coordinate service visits and resolve issues.

Essential Functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
