Job summary

Sauder's Eggs is seeking a Robotic Casepacker Operator to efficiently operate, set up, and maintain robotic casepacking equipment on a full-time basis at our PA facility. The candidate will work closely with the production team to ensure materials are ready and line productivity remains high.

The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and troubleshoot minor issues while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Job Description

The Robotic Casepacker Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation, setup, and maintenance of robotic casepacker machinery. This role requires proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and secure working environment. The operator must be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation and Setup

• Set up and operate robotic casepacker in accordance with current production needs.
• Collaborate with the production coordinator to verify and organize all necessary materials at the correct lines before and during the shift.
• Operate multiple casepackers simultaneously and perform manual packing as required to maintain productivity.
• Change programs and make proper adjustments to the casepackers when switching between different products.

Safety and Quality Control

• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times by promptly addressing spills, disposing of trash, and aiding in small-scale rework.
• Ensure all machine guards are properly in place and remain on the machinery at all times.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with the robotic casepackers to ensure continuous operation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the duration of a full shift.
• Capable of occasionally lifting, carrying, and moving up to 40 pounds.
