Job summary

Pridgeon & Clay is seeking a 1st shift Packer in Grand Rapids to visually inspect finished parts, package them correctly, and ensure timely shipment. You will learn order-number distinctions, handle RF transactions, and verify parts per quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accurate labeling, inventory awareness, and collaboration with coworkers to maintain ISO-aligned processes and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Learn the difference between Pridgeon & Clay order numbers and customer order numbers.
• Learn the location of parts and supplies within the department.
• Learn how to perform Radio Frequency (RF) transactions.
• Communicate well with co-workers.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Maintain excellent attendance and work records.

Responsibilities

• Periodically check packed parts for defects and verify correct part numbers using tags and samples.
• Understand and teach quality requirements to new employees (P&C and temporary staff).
• Report non-conforming or mislabeled product to Quality Assurance.
