Job summary

Farmers Union Industries, LLC in Redwood Falls, MN is seeking a Receiving Operator (Raw Material – Material Handling) on 1st Shift. Starting wage $25.23/hr with shift differentials after 4PM and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, an impressive 401K match and more.

Position requires unloading materials from trailers, operating forklifts, completing paperwork, and coordinating with production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food/feed production.
• Forklift certification upon hire.
• Basic math and data reading skills.
• Strong communication with external truck drivers.
• Ability to work with multiple species.
• Must be 18 years or older for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Remove product from trailers including open top, rendispose, reefer, box, tank and others.
• Operate skid-steers or forklifts to move materials.
• Use a pressure washer and brush to clean trailers and equipment.
• Inspect trailers and notify maintenance if repairs are needed.
• Greet contract haulers and assist unloading their trailers.
• Complete paperwork for each unloaded trailer.
• Communicate trailer load information with production to prevent errors.
• Report concerns, downtime, or cost-saving measures to Foreman.
