Job summary

Farmers Union Industries, LLC, also known as FUI, is hiring a Yard Truck Operator for Plant #22 (Raw Floor) in Redwood Falls, MN. The role runs on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00 PM–4:00 AM) with potential weekend hours.

You will unload raw materials, back up trailers, and support panel operations while following safety policies. The position offers a starting wage of $25.92/hour with $2/hour night differential and $2/hour weekend differential, plus regular pay increases and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Pass in-house Forklift Certification; experience in backing up trailers or operating a skid steer and forklift, preferred
• Experience in food/feed production, a plus
• Understand and operate basic computer systems
• Proficient in basic math skills and reading data trends; accurately and legibly record information
• Effectively communicate in English with external truck drivers, both in writing and verbally
• Read and understand signs, labels, warnings, directions, and operator manuals
• Ability to maintain composure and be organized in a fast-paced environment
• Work in a facility that processes multiple species including cows, pigs, and poultry
• Must be 18 years of age or older for insurance purposes

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic yard trucks to move raw material trailers to unloading bays for processing
• Remove product from various trailer types
• Operate skid-steers or forklifts to unload materials as needed
• Use pressure washer and brush to clean equipment
• Inspect trailers and notify maintenance if repairs are needed
• Arrange empty trailers in the yard
• Greet contract haulers and assist with backing up and unloading
• Complete paperwork for each unloaded trailer
