C&S Wholesale Grocers in Houston, TX is hiring a Forklift Operator. This full-time role requires stand up reach truck experience and safe, efficient handling of merchandise in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

1st shift, Sunday-Friday, with overtime and incentive pay potential. You will move products, track inventory with a handheld device, and ensure timely order fulfillment while adhering to safety protocols.

• Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.

Position Overview

Job Description Summary Keep our communities fed. Forklift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Earn $18.00 per hour, then up to $28.25 with additional incentive earning potential and premiums.

WE ARE CURRENTLY NEEDING CANDIDATES THAT HAVE STAND UP REACH TRUCK EXPERIENCE.

Earn $18 per hour + Base Increases + $1.50 (cooler/freezer premium) + Incentive and Attendance pay (once you qualify) FT, 1st shift, Sunday-Friday, 5 days on/2 days off.

Location: 3100 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77021.

Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
