Aerotek in Riverside, CA is seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator (Stand-Up Reach) to safely move goods in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate a Raymond stand-up reach forklift, perform put-aways, loading, picking, and staging, and handle case picking across pallets during an 8-hour shift.

Job Title: 1st Shift Forklift Operator (Stand-Up Reach)

Job Description

This role focuses on safely and efficiently handling warehouse products using a Raymond stand-up reach forklift. You will perform put-aways, loading, picking, staging, and related warehouse activities in a labor-intensive distribution center environment, including case picking products from multiple pallets over the course of an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond stand-up reach forklift (Pacer) to load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials.

• Perform put-aways, loading, picking, and staging activities accurately and efficiently.

• Case pick products from multiple pallets, handling items ranging from approximately 10 lbs to 60 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.

• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to complete daily work assignments safely and accurately.

• Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation and accurate inventory records.

• Inspect each pallet and case for proper quantities, item accuracy, brands, and lot codes before movement or shipment.

• Learn and use RF systems to perform logistics tasks and complete required documentation.

• Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management and help identify process improvements.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area to support safety and efficiency.

• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct all operations in a manner that promotes safety.

• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all operational and safety guidelines.

• Be open to cross-training for case picking and support these activities when needed.

• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience operating a Raymond stand-up reach forklift (Pacer) in a warehouse or distribution environment.

• Ability to safely operate a stand-up reach forklift and follow all safety procedures.

• Capability to meet medium-level physical exertion requirements, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and handling cases up to approximately 60 pounds.

• Ability to learn and operate RF systems in a logistics environment.

• Basic math skills to perform job tasks and verify counts, quantities, and inventory.

• Basic reading skills to understand work instructions and complete necessary paperwork.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.

• Willingness to be cross-trained in case picking and perform these tasks as needed.

• Strong attention to detail when inspecting pallets and cases for correct quantities, items, brands, and lot codes.

• Commitment to working safely and maintaining a secure warehouse environment.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
