Job summary

MasterMold LLC in Mauston, Wisconsin is seeking a hands-on 1st shift Quality Engineer to work on the manufacturing floor with production and engineering teams, investigating issues and turning quality concerns into practical improvements.

You will own PPAP documentation, perform dimensional inspections with FARO Arm and KEYENCE systems, apply GD&T, and support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems while driving corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent manufacturing quality experience considered.
• 2+ years in manufacturing quality roles.
• Experience with GD&T interpretation & dimensional inspection.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication skills; able to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own PPAP docs and related core quality documentation.
• Perform hands-on dimensional inspections and layouts.
• Support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Identify quality risks and drive process improvements.
• Track quality data and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and leadership.
