Job summary

MasterMold LLC in Mauston, Wisconsin is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Engineer to join our hands-on manufacturing team. You will work closely with production and engineering to drive quality improvements, manage PPAP, and ensure processes meet customer requirements.

This role emphasizes on-floor problem solving, data-driven decisions, and compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949. You will use FARO Arm and KEYENCE equipment, support audits, and help prevent defects through robust quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Two+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with GD&T interpretation and dimensional inspection.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001; IATF 16949 preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, inspection instructions, and related core quality documents.
• Support product launches, engineering changes, and customer submissions with controlled documentation.
• Perform dimensional inspections and part layouts using inspection tools.
• Support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems and internal audits.
• Identify quality risks and drive practical process improvements on the shop floor.
• Track quality data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
