Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Engineer in Chelmsford, MA to partner with manufacturing to drive defect reduction and process improvements. The role requires RCCA expertise, leadership, and strong communication, with exposure to ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.

You will support audits, supplier quality, and NPIs while implementing metrics and dashboards to monitor quality performance on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Master’s degree in engineering or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2+ years electronics manufacturing experience.
• Proven leadership and effective oral communication skills.
• Understanding of RCCA (root cause corrective actions).
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems: ISO9001 and AS9100.
• Ability to handle multiple issues, set priorities and maintain quality focus.
• Machining, tolerancing, reading drawings and general electrical engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality Group metrics to senior staff at regular intervals.
• Work with design and manufacturing to define process improvements and ensure compliance to processes and NPI.
• Review quality clauses during RFQs and new purchase orders; support supplier audits and ISO certification audits.
• Drive quality improvement: Zero Defect Philosophy, risk mitigation, FMEA, supplier KPIs, quality dashboards.
• Design and implement inspection/testing methods for product and production equipment.
• Lead root cause corrective actions and verification to prevent recurrence.
• Assist MRB/TRB/Change requests weekly as needed.
