Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Engineer to drive operational excellence on the factory floor and partner with manufacturing teams to reduce defects and improve processes for high-reliability products.

You will lead quality initiatives, apply RCCA methods, and support audits and compliance programs while influencing production outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with electronics manufacturing experience.
• Proven RCCA understanding and root cause analysis experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and related systems.
• Ability to handle multiple issues with good prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality Group metrics to senior staff regularly.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to define process improvements and ensure NPI compliance.
• Improve procedures and workflows through process audits.
• Review Quality clauses during RFQs and new purchase orders.
• Support supplier audits and ISO certification audits.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and zero defect philosophy.
• Apply risk mitigation and FMEA tools to increase yields.
• Develop new metrics and implement via a quality dashboard.
• Support MRB/TRB/Change requests weekly.
