Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Engineer at our ADFED LLC manufacturing site to drive operational excellence, reduce defects, and continuously improve processes that support high‑reliability products on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree with 2+ years in electronics manufacturing, RCCA experience, and familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100. Travel up to 10%, shift is 1st, and a wage range of $75,200–$103,400 is offered with comprehensive

Qualifications

  • Master’s or equivalent engineering degree with electronics/manufacturing focus.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience accepted.
  • Experience in RCCA and quality improvements in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality metrics to senior staff and partner with design and production teams to drive process improvements.
  • Lead process audits and ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and NPI.
  • Support supplier/customer audits and ISO certification activities.
  • Drive containment, corrective actions, and verification to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist in MRB/TRB/Change requests weekly as needed.

We’re seeking a 1st Shift Quality Engineer to be a key driver of operational excellence, partnering directly with manufacturing teams to reduce defects, solve complex technical challenges, and continuously improve processes that support high-reliability products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides Quality Group metrics to senior staff at regularintervals.Worksclosely with designandmanufacturinggroupsto define process improvements and ensures compliance to manufacturing processes and new product introduction (NPI).
  • Works cross-functionally on documentation to improve procedures and workflows via process audits.
  • Works with contracts and program management to review Quality clauses during RFQs and new purchase orders
  • Provides support and hosts customer audits. The candidate will also support supplier audits and ISO certification audits.
  • Drive quality improvement not limited to:
  • Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment.
  • Works root cause corrective actions and performs verification to prevent recurrence.
  • Support MRB/TRB/Change requests on a weekly basis as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Master’s degree in engineering or Bachelor’s degree in engineering and equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing environment (2+ years)
  • Proven leadership and effective oral communication skills
  • An understanding of root cause corrective action (RCCA)
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems: ISO9001, AS9100, and other related systems
  • Able to deal with multiple issues simultaneously and have the awareness ofsettingpriorities.
  • Must have good Engineering skills regarding machining, tolerancing, reading source control drawings and general electrical engineering skills.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $75,200 to $103,400.
