Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Production Technician Associate in Atlanta, GA. You will assemble trailer components, sub-assemblies, and perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using measuring instruments, and applying power and hand tools safely while maintaining quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to travel >75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify and perform repetitive assembly of trailer components per blueprints or work instructions.
• Safely use measuring and inspection instruments.
• Use power and hand tools safely in a manufacturing setting.
• Work with materials including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents and abrasives.
• Suggest improvements to production methods, equipment performance and quality standards.
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize department efficiency.
