Qualifications

• 3-5 years previous mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic math: add/subtract, decimals, averages, percentages and range; read specifications and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of products according to standard work instructions and prints.
• Operate and set up production equipment/fixtures as needed.
• Become proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting workmanship, safety and productivity requirements.
• Perform preparation work such as line clearance and changeover.
• Inspect own and others' work; perform simple repairs as needed.
