Job summary

GXO Logistics in New Albany, OH is seeking a Production Technician Associate to assemble trailer components and perform quality inspections. You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and work with various materials while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Shifts run 7:30am–4:30pm or 3:00pm–12am, Monday–Friday, with PPE requirements and a focus on continuous improvement and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High degree of technical skills and assembling techniques.
• Ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures.
• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions
• Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments
• Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner
• Work with a variety of materials including steel sheet metal aluminum solvents oils and abrasives
• Recommend measures to improve production methods equipment performance and quality standards
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within department

As the Production Technician Associate you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies.

Equipment:

Tugger EPJ more details to be confirmed. Heavy in power tool usage installing racks.
