Job summary

Home Chef is hiring for a production/warehouse role on 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) in Illinois. The role involves labeling, portioning ingredients, and meal bagging according to SOPs and BP.

Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow GMP/PPE standards, and report issues promptly to leadership. We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k, holidays, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma preferred but not required.
• 6+ months of production/warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with others as a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and BP for labeling, portioning ingredients, and meal bagging.
• Label packaging at standard rates and use accurate measuring utensils.
• Maintain a clean workspace and report damages or missing parts.
• Follow GMP and PPE standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Assist with general production tasks when not on RTH assignments.
• Support shipping goals and maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
• Enforce safety and SQF procedures and participate in EOD cleanups.
