Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Irving, TX is seeking a Production Operator to load component parts into automated assemblies, following quality and efficiency standards. The role supports audits, records production, and maintains a clean work area.

You will work 1st shift (6am–2pm, Mon–Fri), with weekends/overtime as needed. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, able to stand long hours, and able to lift up to 30 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load component parts into automated assemblies per instructions.
• Record production and package per instruction; label parts and document issues.
• Escalate machinery down or quality issues to supervisors.
• Ensure products comply with check sheets and work instructions.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.
