Job Description:

Job Requirements:

• Physically able to lift bags of materials weighing up to 55 pounds repetitively.
• Able to work in a labor-intensive position, including lifting, standing, bending, twisting, and stooping for up to 12 hours per day.
• Physically able to work in a hot environment for up to 12 hours per day.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations, attend daily safety meetings, and complete monthly safety participation requirements.
• Make batches of adhesive following batch sheet instructions, read batch sheets, and add raw materials as prescribed.
• Operate lab equipment for quality control testing and record information during batching and testing processes.
• Maintain a clean work area, operate forklifts to transport raw materials and finished goods, and ensure good housekeeping standards.
• Perform operator cleaning and care regularly, and advise supervisors of any issues during shifts.
• Complete all duties in a timely manner in accordance with Greif policies.

Other Responsibilities:

• Train as backup for Shipping, Draw Off, and Tote Washing positions and fill in as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or lead personnel.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma required, with 1-4 years of experience in a production environment.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of standard practices are a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
