Position Reporting To

Production Supervisor

Your Role and Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to all safety requirements and company policies.
  2. Prepare copper bus and steel components for powder coating and electroplating processes.
  3. Operate automatic and manual coating equipment.
  4. Read blueprints or similar documentation and produce according to those specifications.
  5. Use various hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  6. Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  7. Maintain equipment and conveyors and perform basic repairs when needed.
  8. Inventory tools, parts, and supplies.
  9. Periodically check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve issues and alert supervisor.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
  11. Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products, including packing with production lines.
  12. Perform work manually or using light hand tools.
  13. Conduct regular quality testing as part of the production process.
  14. Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications for the Role
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, grinders, etc.
  • Knowledge of 5S methodology.
  • Knowledge and use of necessary PPE.
  • Ability to use crane or other lifting devices as needed.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder when required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Ability to understand and carry out simple instructions.
  • Basic computer skills to look up parts.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and the use of both hands.
  • Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
