Job summary

Siemens Knightdale facility seeks a 1st Shift Production Manager to lead day-to-day skid assembly operations in Knightdale, NC. You will manage safety, quality, delivery, and cost while driving continuous improvement and building frontline leadership in a startup-style manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industrial manufacturing or equivalent leadership experience.
• Experience in an assembly/operations environment with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Lean manufacturing experience with process-improvement track record.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and Salesforce.com systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day production operations to exceed safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer performance targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 6S, waste elimination, cycle time reduction, and process optimization.
• Plan and direct capital investments and resource allocation to improve productivity and align capacity with demand.
• Develop frontline talent and foster accountability, ownership, and a strong culture across teams.
• Oversee production systems, data accuracy and compliance across SAP, Salesforce, Dayforce, audits, and customer visits.
