Job summary

Siemens Industry is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor for the Grand Prairie, TX factory in the DFW area. You will lead daily production, coordinate between hourly workforce, management, engineering, and quality control, and ensure timely information flow to sustain operations.

You will also drive safety improvements, cut production errors, and push for Lean and digital tools adoption while maintaining a strong relationship with the local union and guiding performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing or related field in a supervisor role.
• Bachelor's degree required or associate's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
• Mechanical Proficiency with experience using hand tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Be the driver of daily production processes and info flow among assembly, management, engineering, quality and planning.
• Improve safety and drive initiatives to reduce errors and boost quality and efficiency.
• Manage the schedule, assign staff, supervise progress, and document training and evaluations.
• Maintain relations with the local union under the collective bargaining agreement.
• Support digitalization projects using Digital Work Instructions, displays and dashboards.
