Job summary

Siemens Industry in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily assembly operations, coordinate schedules, and serve as the information hub between hourly workers, management, engineering, quality, purchasing and planning.

You will enhance safety, drive quality and efficiency, supervise training, maintain union relations, and support digital tools like work instructions and dashboards. Requires 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing and a related degree.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing or related field in a supervisor role.
• Bachelor’s degree required or associate’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience
• Mechanical Proficiency with experience using hand tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft office products
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Be the hub of information transfer between the hourly assembly workforce, management, engineering, quality control, purchasing and planning.
• Improve safety for all personnel around the production line and drive initiatives to reduce errors and increase quality and efficiency.
• Handle production schedule, assign personnel to work areas, supervise progress, and document training while driving continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain working relationship with local union by following the collective bargaining agreement.
• Support digitalization efforts to implement tools such as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Dashboards and other connected tools.
