Job summary

Wow Bao seeks a Culinary R&D/Production Chef for its new Forest City, NC plant. You’ll split time between developing recipes and ensuring scalable production, working closely with the VP of Culinary to test and refine items for taste, quality, safety and efficiency.

You’ll lead production collaborations, manage trials, optimize processes, and mentor the team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary R&D experience in large-scale food production environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and manufacturing processes.
• Experience partnering with operations, QA and supply chain teams.
• Proven ability to balance creativity with operational feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary production operations and ensure quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with QA to meet safety, regulatory and quality standards.
• Guide production team on new product launches and scale‑up efforts.
• Optimize production workflow and capacity planning with Operations.
